Provides telephone support to children and young people with a neurodevelopmental condition and their family
How it can help
The Neurodevelopmental Pathway coordinators support children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, such as Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia. They provide information, resources and support at any time, including pre and post diagnosis.
Help is tailored to family needs. It could include help to access support with:
- managing changes to routine
- navigating social situations
- understanding sensory processing
- navigating transitions at school
- explaining other services and how they can help
- managing meltdowns and shutdowns
Age
0 to 25
Eligibility
Children and young people up to the age of 25 with a neurodevelopmental condition (pre or post diagnosis) in Colchester and Tendring district.
How to access
Contact by phone or email. A professional working with the child or young person can also provide a referral.
